Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Dream Codex account and everything in it at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. This page explains both paths and exactly what happens when you do.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Dream Codex and go to the Profile tab.
2. Choose Account.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate. Your account is closed, you are signed out on every device, and your data is removed from our systems.

No longer have the app?

Email privacy@codexcorp.ca from the email address on your account with the subject line Delete my Dream Codex account. We will verify it is really you, confirm the request, and complete the deletion promptly, at most within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in credentials, including passkeys and MFA settings.
• Every dream entry: text, voice recordings, transcripts, generated images, moods, tags, and ratings.
• Your profile, preferences, reminders, and sleep-assistant history.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you would like a copy of your journal first, export it in the app under Profile → Data & privacy → Export before you delete.

What may remain

Aggregate, non-identifying usage statistics (which never contained your dreams) and records we are legally required to keep, such as tax records for purchases, if any. These cannot be linked back to your journal.
